Brief Outline: Students who hit the other team with the ball try to guess the day of the week on their back.

Materials Needed:

• Clothes pins
• Soft ball: At a 100 yen store, you can find a balloon covered ball covered in felt.

Detailed Explanation:

1. Pin the day of the week cards onto the students' back using the cloth pins. Let them know it should be a secret from the other team.
2. Set up the dodgeball court, make the boundaries clear and start the students with five minutes of game time. Let them know if they do a good job and are not too genki, they can play longer.
3. Play dodgeball. If a student is hit, the game stops. The student who hit the other student asks the student whom they hit, “What day is it today?" If the student who was hit gets the answer right, then the 'hit' student is safe. If they answer wrong, they're out.
