Do Freeze
Do Freeze
Submitted by: Roger Parker Date added: 03/11/08
Outline: Students walk around and suddenly 'freeze' when the music stops.
Procedure:
- Once you have taught the action words, have the students stand up, call out an action and the students must repeat it after you.
- Start the music and the students must do the action until the music stops.
- As soon as the music stops, the students must 'freeze'. The clincher to this game is the funny expressions/poses they make when they freeze.
- Once the students get the hang of the game, try getting in a frozen student's face and see if they move. If they move, they are out. I have found the students think this is really funny.
Variations:
- 'Out' students become your helpers and try to get other students to 'unfreeze' in future rounds without touching them.
