Brief Outline: Students learn to familiarise themselves with numbers by running to sit in the correct chair.

Materials Needed:

• 7 chairs

Detailed Explanation:

1. Split the class into 3-4 groups. Students need to decide who will run first, second, and third, etc.
2. Have the students line up on one side of the classroom, and on the other side of the classroom spread the chairs out in a straight line. On each chair, attach a number. The number attached depends on the numbers you are practicing.
3. Say a number and if the number said is on one of the chairs, the first student from each group must run to the correct chair and sit. The student who sits in the chair receives a point for their team.  
4. If the teacher calls out a number that is not on the chair the students clap their hands to however many the teacher says.

Variations:

• You can use other vocabulary with this game.

Tips/Cautions:

• This game could get ugly when the students run to the chair so be careful.

1. クラスを３～４つのグループに分ける。生徒は走る順番を決める。
2.  
   教室の片側に生徒を並んで立たせて、もう一方の側に椅子を一列に離して並べておく。各椅子に勉強する番号一つずつ貼る。
3. 先生が番号一つを言う。その番号が椅子に貼ってあれば、グループの一番目の生徒はその椅子に走って行って座らなければならない。座れた生徒のグループはポイントをもらう。　
4. もし、先生が言った番号が椅子になかったら、生徒全員で、先生が言った番号の数だけ拍手をする。
