Outline:  Students stand on 'lucky' vocab spots and hope their spot isn't called out.

 

Materials Needed:
  • Target vocabulary flashcards

 

Procedure:
  1. Once the students have practiced the new words, spread the flashcards out across the floor of the classroom.  You might want to move the desks to the side of the room for more space.
  2. The students have 5-10 seconds to pick a flashcard and go stand in that flashcard's area.
  3. Call out a random vocabulary word and the students in that flashcard's area are out.
  4. This simple activity is fun and the students pay attention to the English being spoken.

 

Teaching Suggestions:
  • This game is only good for about 10-15 minutes.

概要: 生徒は“Lucky"という言葉の場所に立ちます。そこで、自分のカードが呼ばれないようにお祈りします。

 

必要な教材:　

  • 習得目標の単語フラッシュカード 

手順:

  1. 生徒が新しい単語を練習し終わったら、フラッシュカードを床いっぱいに広げておく。部屋を広く使うために、机や椅子を片付けておくほうがいい。
  2. 生徒は５～１０秒以内にフラッシュカードを取って、そのラッキーエリアに立つ。
  3. 先生は適当にフラッシュカードの中の言葉を大声で言う。その言葉を持ってラッキーエリアに立っている生徒はそのエリアから出す。
  4. この簡単なアクティビティーは面白いゲームなので、先生が言う英語に生徒は注意を払う。 

推薦を教えること:

  • このゲームは１０~１５分くらいが適当です。
