Brief Outline
Students play Janken. The loser falls over and the winner helps them up.
Detailed Explanation
- Demonstrate the game with the teacher.
- Students walk around, find a partner, and play Janken.
- The winner becomes A, the loser becomes B.
- B: "Please help me."
- *A pulls B up*
- A&B: "_____ pulls _____ up." (Fill gaps with A &B`s names).
- Repeat from step 2.
Variations
- Make the conversation in Step 3 longer:
- B: "Please help me."
- A: "What`s the matter?"
- B: "Look at this!" (gesturing to themselves on the ground)
- *A pulls B up"
- A&B: "_____ pulls _____ up."
Teaching Suggestions
- Use this game at the start of the lesson.
- When demonstrating with the teacher make your fall dramatic.
