Brief Outline: Students play janken with each other and the winner gives the command ("touch your__") according to their body card.  The other student has to do as s/he is told or s/he has to sit down.

Materials Needed:

• Body parts game cards

Detailed Explanation:

1. Give each student a body part game card. Remind students to keep their card a secret, they cannot show anyone.
2. Students walk around, find a partner and play janken.  The winner gives the command according to his/her body part game card first.  The loser does the action and says the body part.
   Janken winner: "Touch your head."  (body part game card is "head")
   Janken loser: (touches his/her body according to the command) and says, "head.
3. The Janken winner should say, "OK" if the Janken loser touches the correct body part, or "NO" if the loser touches the wrong body part. 
4. The students switch role: the loser says the command and the winner does the action.
5. Then they switch cards and find a new partner.
6. If the Janken loser touches the wrong body part, they have 3 chances before they are out and have to sit down.
7. The last students standing get a reward (applause or stickers).

Teaching Suggestions:

• Teachers should walk around the classroom to ensure students are saying and touching the correct body parts.

• (Jan 19, 2012) Ben said: please be aware that when doing this game with elementary students there is the chance that they will want to touch or direct their friends to touch their own "hoohoo's" in a joke attempt. It must be made clear before the activity game, that kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Any student seen doing such actions will be out.
