Brief Outline: Students listen to the teacher describe their bedroom and they must draw it.  Afterwards, they write sentences about what they've drawn.

Materials Needed:

  • AndysBedroom worksheet: You will need to change "Andy" on the worksheet to make it specific to you.

Detailed Explanation:

  1. Students listen to the ALT or JTE describe their room and draw what they hear in the empty room.
  2. When they have finished, they will write sentences about what they drew: "There is a TV on the desk."

Variations:

  • Students describe their own room to their partner.
  • Give students five minutes to colour in and announce the best drawing.
