Comparative Survey

Brief Outline:  Students conduct surverys of their friends using comparative questions and write sentences using their newly discovered knowledge.

 

Materials Needed:

  • ComparativeSurvey - one copy per student

 

Detailed Explanation:

  1. First, hand out the worksheet and review vocabulary and the concept of comparatives and superlatatives.
  2. The students stand up, walk around and ask their classmates questions. Make sure they only speak English!
  3. After they've collected all their answers, they should return to their seats and write sentences about their newly discovered knowledge.

 

Teaching Suggestions:

  • Ensure the students know the dfference between 'fun' and 'funny'.
