Brief Outline: Students have to connect the infinitive sentences.

 

Materials Needed:

  • SplitInfinitives worksheet: Cut up the sentences and put in envelopes for each group. You will need to change the sentences to include places near your own school.

 

Detailed Explanation:

  1. Each group is given an envelope and a worksheet.
  2. The students have to make the correct sentences and then take turns writing the sentences on their worksheet.
  3. The fastest team to write all the sentences correctly wins.
