Brief Outline: A simple but fun reading and writing worksheet that practices the 'who' question and using famous caricatures.
Materials Needed
- WhoIsFamous worksheet (2 pages)
- Flashcards - not included with this activity but you can find famous caricatures HERE & HERE
Detailed Explanation:
After choosing famous people from the list above, print them out and post them on the chalkboard. Have your students to write the names of the people in romaji.
Hand out the worksheets and have the students work in groups/pairs/individuals to complete the worksheet. For section two of the worksheet, have them choose one character from the chalkboard and write five sentences about them.
If you want to build a more communicative lesson, ask questions about the people on their worksheets.
Cautions:
- The worksheets are intented to have them write in English. Beware the lazy students...
