Brief Outline: Students write words in their notebooks hoping to score a bingo.

Detailed Explanation:

  1. Write a set of vocabulary words on the chalkboard and tell the students to choose five of the words and write them in their notebook.

  2. Randomly call out the words one-by-one and if the student has written the word, they can cross it out.

  3. Once they cross off all five words, they call out "Bingo!"

Teaching Suggestions:

  • This is not just a warmup activity. It can be done as a listening exercise at the end of a lesson when there are a lof of words/sentences already written on the chalkboard.
