Brief Outline: Students listen and decide whether various sentences are true.

Materials Needed:

  • Sentences (not included): Make a simple list of sentence of things you did last week, yesterday etc, making sure there is about an equal amount of true/false things.

Detailed Explanation:

  1. Tell the students to listen and decide if the sentence you tell me is true/false.  NOTE: the students won't know most of the sentences so they will have to guess.
  2. Read out the sentences one-by-one and give one point to the students who guessed correctly.
  3. The student with the most points at the end is the winner.
