Outline: Students learn alphabet letters while learning a distinguishable action alongside each letter. This is a mnemonic device to help a student’s retrieval of learned information. This activity works the best in a big class, but can easily be taught in a smaller classes also.
Teaching Suggestions:
The below attachment contains pictures that coincide with each letter of the alphabet. Your objective is to create fun and exciting actions for each picture. If you use your own pictures, choose ones that children are familiar with such as Anpanman or Sesame Street characters. Get to know your students favorites or ask their teachers.
Procedure: Once the students learn the letter, the picture's name and action, put everything together into a chant.

- Eventually, you should create your own action ideas, but here are some ideas to jog your creative mind:

手順:
各文字・描写しているものの名称・体の動きについて生徒に教えたら、それらを合体して、生徒全員にいっせいに活動させる。
リズムを歌うとしてビデオを見る。
- 生徒がその文字・描写しているもの・体の動きについてしっかり理解できたら、次の文字に移る。しかし、時折復習させる。
- 最終的には、それぞれ独自の体の動きを考案すべきでしょうが、独自のものを作るヒントとしていくつかのものを下に示してある。
