Big/Small Concentration

Outline: Students take turns trying to find matching alphabet letters.
 
Procedure:
  1. Depending on class size, form groups of 4-6 students.
  2.  
    Give each group two complete sets of alphabet cards.  Have them place the cards facedown on a desk.
  3. Students take turns turning over 2 cards trying to find identical cards.  If they find a match, that student may have another turn.  However, if the two cards do not match, the cards are once again turned facedown and it becomes the next student's turn.

 

Variations:

  • Try using one uppercase (omoji) and lowercase (komoji) set of cards and have the students match upper/lowercase letters.

概要:  生徒は交代で同じアルファベットの大文字・小文字組み合わせを見つけ出します。
 
手順: 
  1. クラスの生徒の人数により、４～6人のグループを作る。
  2. それぞれのグループに大文字・小文字2組のアルファベットすべての文字が揃っているカードを渡す。机の上に全てのカードを裏返しにして置かせる。
  3. 生徒は交代で、一致するカードを見つけようと、2枚のカードを表にする。もし一致する2枚を見つけたら、もう1回カードを2枚表にできる。しかし2枚のカードが一致しない場合には、そのカードは再び裏返しにして置かれ、次の生徒の番になる。

変形: 

  • 組の大文字・小文字のセットになったカードを使わせて、生徒に大文字・小文字の組み合わせをさせます。
