Detailed Explanation:

  1. Draw big blank faces on the chalkboard. Take turns with the HRT asking each other 'How are you?' and drawing the responses into the blank faces.
  2. Hand out the worksheet below and have students greet six students and draw their responses.
  3. If there is time, have students show the faces they draw and explain each expression.

 

Variations:
