• Students need to be told where to start on each page. Otherwise, they won’t know where to start, and they’ll end up drawing something off the page or making it really small.

Variations:

• Instead of using animals, you can use countries, people, maps or regular shapes. Anything is ok, as long as the picture can be drawn.

Tips or Cautions:

• Slow kids might need an added extra something special. Let a slow kid’s partner be able to look over the slow kid’s shoulder to adjust the speed of their instruction, so the slow kid has a chance to catch up.

• 生徒はページのどの部分から描き始めるのか教えられる必要があります。そうしないと、生徒はどこから描いていいか分からず、ページからはみ出したり、それを小さく描くことになってしまったりします。 

1. 最初に生徒にペアを作らせます。それぞれのペアの生徒同士、背中合わせで座るように言います。
2. それぞれのペアの一人に何も書いていない紙を、もう一人に動物の絵を渡します。
3. 絵を持っている生徒が「Directions (方向)」を使って紙を持っている生徒に指示します。Directions は「North, South, East, West, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Northwest, stop」です。何も描いていない紙を持っている生徒は鉛筆を紙から離さないで絵を描かなければなりません。
4. 五分間で絵を描いた後、役割を交代します。最初に絵を描いた生徒に新しい絵を渡します。
5. 下の添付ファイルに絵が３つあります。第４ラウンドでは、ゲームを始める前に、指示を出す生徒には好きな絵を描かせます。

変形:

• 動物の代わりに外国の地図とか人の顔とか基本的な図形を描かせてもいいです。絵が描ければどんなものでも構いません。
   

注意すること:

• ついていけない生徒には特別な支援が必要です。その場合は、指示を出している生徒に、描いている生徒の肩越しに絵を見ながら指示を出す速さを調整させます。この方法でその生徒のスピードに合わせられます。
