Detailed Explanation:

  1. One student is the oni (it). When the oni tags a player, they yell, "You’re ice!" The tagged player must freeze and say, "Please help me!"

    Another player can release the frozen student by touching them, but only after the frozen student says, "Thank you,” and the helper says, "You’re welcome!"

 

Teaching Suggestions:

  • One oni for every 6-7 students is suggested.
  • The game is good for about 15 minutes.
  • Change the oni every 4-5 minutes for variety.
