Brief Outline: Students search out various countries posted throughout the classroom and say the correspoding weather.

Materials Needed:

Detailed Explanation:

  1. Attach the country cards and matching weather card to the walls around the classroom.
  2. After explaining what the question means, ask the students, "How's the weather in ~ ?"  All the students must run over to that country and say its weather, "It's ~ ."
  3. Have the students move the cards around so the weather in each country is different.

Variations:

  • Students in take your place and become the "Question Master!"
  • Place multiple weathers in the same country.

Teaching Suggestions:

  • Make the weather cards small enough so the students can't see the weather without going over to the country and investigating.
