Outline: The ALT says a number and the students must jump that many times. 
 
Teaching Suggestions:
  • This activity will probably result in the class becoming a little rowdy, so to calm down of the class, have the students count backwards from the highest number they learned.

 

Procedure:

  1. This game is extremely simple.  You say a number within the target numbers and the students must jump that many times.  Because the simplicity of this game, it might be best used as a warm-up game.

 

Variations:

  • Have each row of students play their own game.  The first student in each row say a number and that row has to jump that many times.
  • Mix in different actions: spinning, clapping, patting their heads, etc.
