Paper-Turkey Making

Outline: Students learn how to make a turkey with construction papers while they learn or review shapes and/or body parts.

 

Procedure:
  1. Use the color attachment below if you don't have construction paper.  If you have access to construction paper, use the black & white attachment below.  If you don't have construction paper, use the color attachment.
  2. Cut out all the pieces of the turkey.
  3. There are 6 feathers in the attachments below.  Each feather has a sentence, "I am thankful for ____."  Have the students write something they are thankful for on each of the feathers.
  4. The big brown circle is the turkey's body.  Glue all the parts of the turkey to the body.
