Brief Outline: Students cross off letters on their alphabet worksheet based upon the roll of an alphabet dice.

Materials Needed:

• ABC / abc
• Alphabet dice or shuffled alphabet flashcards

Detailed Explanation:

1. After each student receives an alphabet worksheet, they are split into pairs or small groups.
2. Students take turns rolling an alphabet die or flipping the flashcards and crossing off the letter rolled/flipped.
3. The first student to slash all the letters on their worksheet wins.

Variations:

• If you are using flashcards, insert some 'wild' cards into the game. The wild cards allow the student to cross off any letter.

Teaching Suggestions:

• You might find it hard to find alphabet dice in Japan. You can either make homemade alphabet dice or buy cheap playing cards from the 100 yen shop and write letters on them.

アルファベットのワークシートを生徒全員が受け取ったら、2人組みにするか、小さなグループに分けてください。

バリエーション：

• トランプを使っている場合には、何枚か鬼札を入れてください。鬼札が出たら、生徒はどの文字を削除してもいいです。
