Brief Outline: Students race to catch a ball based upon a color given.

Detailed Explanation:

Have students stand or sit in a circle. Each student receives a color, making sure at least two or three students have the same color.
Stand in center of the circle and call out a color, then toss the ball into the air. The students who are assigned that color must race to catch the ball. The student who catches the ball is the next color-caller and ball-tosser.

Teaching Suggestions:

For larger classes, make more than one circle.
Make sure all colors are called to avoid students feeling left out.
