Outline:  Students run to true/false sections of the room based upon whether they believe the ALT's statements.

 

Procedure:
  1. Split the room into two sections: True and False.  Say various statements about yourself and if the students think you are lying they run to the false section of the room and vise-versa.
  2. After you tell them a statement, give them a few seconds to think about it and move.  If they seem to be taking too long, use a timer.
  3. Play a few times until they get the hang of it.  Then, the students who answer incorrectly must return to their seats.  The last student standing is the winner.

 

Variations:

  • Have the homeroom teacher play round 2, or you can even have the winner of round 1 become the new teller of lies.
