be動詞+形容詞 ('be' verb + adjective)

 NOTE: Don't ask me why the textbooks only want to focus on adjectives in this type of sentence pattern.  Probably something to do with English being taught as a mathlish language in Japan... 

 

Fun Riddle: "Can you name a nine letter word that only has one vowel?" (answer below)

In this fast-paced gesture game, students throw a Doink ball around the room acting out various adjectives.
 
Students practice form simple adjective sentences while interviewing each other and trying to collect three 'O' and/or 'X' in a straight line.
