Brief Outline: Using grammar the students have learned recently, they survey each other then play a fun guessing game. Materials Needed:
Detailed Explanation:
Hand out the worksheet and have the students write their names on it.
The teachers demonstrate a couple of the questions in front of the class. Check the proper usage of various answers – “Yes/No, I do/do not.” “Yes/No, I am/ am not."
Students make pairs, ask each other the survey questions, and check the appropriate box.
Then, they guess how many members of the class answered ‘yes’ for each question and write their guess in the ‘?’ column.
Teachers collate the responses of the survey and write them on the chalkboard.
Students total their points in the ‘O’ column. The goal is to have the lowest points; the difference between the student's guess and the actual answer should be added together for each question.
Finally, using the portrait worksheet, students draw a self-portrait and write a self-introduction according to their answers in the survey.
