Brief Outline: This short activity has the students practice comparative and superlative grammar points by completing a fill-in-the-blank worksheet.

Materials Needed:

Detailed Explanation:

  1. Read the sentences on the worksheet aloud to the class, obviously without giving the answers, to ensure they understand all the vocabulary.
  2. Write the answers randomly on the blackboard.
  3. Students select words from the blackboard and fill in their worksheet.
  4. Go over the answers together as a class.

Variations and Options:

  • Set a time limit.
  • Put students in teams. The first team to have all members complete the worksheet correctly is the winner.
