Brief Outline:  Students receive half of a sentence and they must write the missing relative clauses.

 

Materials Needed:

Teaching Suggestions:

  • Warn the students that from #3, they first have to unjumble the first part of the sentence, then complete it.

  1. Hand out worksheet.
  2. Students must write relative clauses to finish the sentences.
  3. Clues to who the people are:
    • #1 - Ichiro Suzuki is a baseball player.
    • #4 - Ai-chan is a teenage girl who is the youngest table tennis player to represent Japan in the Olympics. She was 15 years old at the time.
    • #5 - Tiger Woods is a golf player.
    • #6 - Ayumi Hamasaki is a famous J-pop singer.
    • #10 - Takeshi Kitano is a famous Japanese director. He also starred in the American movie Johnny Mnemonic.
