Brief Outline:  Students discover which month their friends’ birthdays are in.

Materials Needed

Detailed Explanation:

1. Students wander around and play Janken. The winner asks, “When is your birthday?” The winner ONLY writes the loser’s name IN ENGLISH in the appropriate box.
2. Students change partners and play again.
3. Keep playing until you a student fills out the complete worksheet, highly unlikely, or the class starts to lose interest.
4. Several boxes were made for each month in case there were many students who were born in the same month.
